CALL FOR PAPERS

The deadline for the submission of abstracts has been postponed to October 18, 2015.

Proposals and presentations may be written  in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Translation of presentations will not be available in all sessions.

Abstracts must follow the submission rules to be reviewed.

Proposals for in-person presentations at the congress may be submitted as a:
  1. 30-minute presentation
  2. 90-minute presentation or activity.
Each is explained in more detail below.

30-minute presentation
A 30-minute presentation may be prepared by one or more authors. However, an accepted proposal will be presented only by one author. Each presentation should be limited to 30 minutes. Presentations will be grouped in sessions of 90 or 120 minutes by the scientific committee, according to common themes, containing 2 or 3 presentations of 30 minutes and a 30-minute Q&A. A PC and data projector will be provided. Some suggested topics are listed as examples but not limited to:
  • Case presentations;
  • Brainspotting in specific populations;
  • Research in Brainspotting (even pending final results).

Submission information for 30-minute presentations:
Abstracts must not contain references and not exceed 200 words and should have the following sections:
  1. Title;
  2. Author(s) and affiliation;
  3. Objective;
  4. Method;
  5. Results and discussion;
  6. Language(s) in which the presentation could be delivered.

90-minute presentation or activity
This format is best suited for topics that require more time such as conceptual or theoretical issues related to Brainspotting, workshops or mini-courses. A 90-minute presentation may be prepared and presented by one or more authors. The total time will be 90 minutes. A PC and data projector will be provided.

Submission information for 90-minute presentations or activities:
Abstracts must not contain references and not exceed 200 words and should have the following sections:
  1. Title;
  2. Author(s) and affiliation;
  3. Objective;
  4. Method;
  5. Results and discussion (when applicable);
  6. Maximum number of participants (when applicable, e.g. workshops, mini-courses);
  7. Language(s) in which the presentation or activity could be delivered.
